My prayers are with Velcro and the vet and staff caring for him today.

I'd say I found my kitty as a stray last year, but it's more like he found me. He's truly a gift from God and I know how you feel.

Looking forward to hearing he's home safe and sound with his momma.

(((kitty hugs)))

Best wishes from a fellow animal lover. We have a dog and a cat...don't know what I would do with out their unconditional love.

Velcro did fine with the surgery, and was recuperating well this afternoon. She did want to keep him overnight, which was okay with me as I'm sure it will be quieter there than here at home. I'll pick him up in the morning.

Many thanks to all of you for your good thoughts and prayers! :ghug3

I'm glad he did well through the surgery and will be glad when he gets home. I, too, felt better when Mots spent the night at the vet's after surgery, but I missed him

Big hugs to you and Velcro, prayers for you all!!

My one-eyed wonder cat is home, and as soon as I let him out of the carrier, he shot up to the second story of the house. It didn't take much coaxing to get him to come back down, and he ate a bowl of food.

He's on antibiotics and will go back in 2 weeks to get the sutures removed. Now I'll just have to make sure he doesn't dart out the door while healing!

I'm such a wuss when it comes to pets. I have 3 rescue kitties, so I totally relate. My newest kitty, a Russian Blue was hit by a car as an "infant" and given to me for recup after his surgery. He also lost an eye but is doing just great now.

I'm so glad your baby is home and happy and eating!

Good to hear he is on the mend. Hope his "carer" is on the mend also.
It would have been easier if he had not had to have sutures....if he'd lived up to his name and had "velcro" strips instead.

Sorry about that. Will try and behave in future.

God bless

I'm so glad this went well, and I know that Velcro is one lucky cat to have adopted you.

I really miss my Toby, but have a feeling that we'll be adopted again too, by some little striped fella who knows how much we love cats.

Give Velcro a big jug from Auntie Ann.

Hell hath no fury like a cat who had antibiotics forced down his throat!

He stayed upstairs last night, but when I got up pre-dawn for potty break, there he was in my spot on the bed when I came back to lay down.

He has been absolutely stark raving bananas about going outside (most of my cats are indoor/outdoor), so I went out in the back yard with him for awhile. He was NOT a happy camper when I brought him back inside.

Thanks again for all your healing thoughts and prayers.

((DeVon)) Elvis hasn't adjusted to only going out when I go with him, either (he now has seizures, so I won't let him out alone)...they can REALLY get an attitude when we don't do things THEIR way, can't they

I was the crazy lady, standing out in the driveway in my jammies, screaming "Elvis get your a$$ over here, RIGHT NOW!" earlier today...gave the neighbors something to laugh at

Glad Velcro is feeling good enough to give you fits!!

God bless our furbabies!

Hugs and prayers!

Amy
