I was outside having a prayer moment for CoffeeDrinker...

and something came to me I'm compelled to share here =-


I read a book once can't remember the exact title...

embraced by the light - into the light ... somethign like that...

The woman who wrote it had a near death experience
and she had this 'guide' being leading her all over the place
anyway -

she described seeing the Earth as the tiny blue dot of light it really is ...
and there were these lightning -like rays of light going from the planet
shooting up into the Universe.
Like flashlight beams flashing into space -

She asked her 'Guide' what were those rays -
and was told that those were prayers of those in need.

Then there was a BRILLIANT beam of light
far brighter and stronger than the others.
So she asked again what THAT was.

She was tole
"Those... are the prayers of Mothers... for their children."

While I found the book
a tad on the hokey side...

I've never forgotten that part.

I offer it here because Spirit said to ...
but ...

well ... because Spirit said to.

((Barb)) - wow, that's really cool. I do believe there's something special about a mama's love (and prayers) but I think it probably goes the same for the dad's.

I read that book! The lady was on some talk show I saw too. The book was a little hokey, but I liked the visuals she described. Like the river, do you remember that one?
