A house alarm, windows, doors and motion detectors. Might be a tad expensive, but could save your life.

Hunky friends or friends of friends can also be handy... well, I know some tend to think you're alone and vulnerable but what if you are around 4 or 5 hunks often? maybe having them take you or pick you up to places, or stay around until late etc would make you more comfortable

That's what I did TC, kept a mean looking guy around all the time...he still came around and snuck up...but couldn't do anything with witnesses, y'know.

Miyah, please keep us informed, let us know you're okay. I'm terribly worried about you! PM me and I'll give you my phone number if you'd like.

Thank you all for your ideas and kind words. I appreciate the support so much.
One of my sons came to stay last night.
I had wired the back gate shut earlier, I do have a motion sensor in back of the house and huge porch and fence lights in front. I also sleep with my gun under the pillow next to me. And it had been awhile so I was starting to unwind a bit.
The neighbors have been watching since this he went to jail. One problem is the one house on the side is vacant and has lots of bushes to hide in. The other is my tall fence- can't see much from outside the yard.
He has been warned by the deputies and the judge to stay away from me and my home. Don't think he is getting it.
The detective that was out Friday is the domestic violence investigator, he seems to know his stuff. He says he will try to get his bond revoked because he is drinking. He made sure there was a deputy close Friday night.
I why why he is bothering with me, since he is back with his ex??

One thing I did notice- I was sitting in my car in a parking lot last week talking with a guy, and I got the distinct feeling that I was being watched. The one thing that might set him off, would be if he thought I was seeing someone else.
I have heard that he blames me for the loss of his job, no surprise, I got blamed for everything all the time.
I keep trying to figure out what and why he is doing this.

Thanks again everyone!!
As soon as I get my tax refund I am headed to Florida to visit my sister there. I plan to stay for awhile and relax. I am so excited!!

I am glad your son stayed over, you are being careful and have precautions in place...YAY for the FL vacation...happy, joyous and FREE..you deserve it!

It's all about a sick "game" of power and control.
If you get that ick feeling that you are being watched, pay attention to it, better safe than sorry!

I would not think think so- but....I am seeing that he does have access to a computer because he has just listed a boat on Craigslist.
I suppose when he was here he could have snooped on my laptop. I would not think he would go through every site listed in favorites?

When he was here I was not actively posting, just logged in to read.
It is kind of a scary thought.
