What are you thankful for today?

I thought of starting this thread for myself this morning as I came into work, but then the internet crapped out and I had to hold it in for a while.

Anyhow, here's mine:
I'm thankful for my warm cosy bed at night.
I'm thankful for good home-cooked food.
I'm thankful for emails from friends that make me laugh.
I'm thankful for my daughter crawling over to my side of the bed and kissing me on the cheek at 4 a.m.
I'm thankful for my loving and generous parents.
I'm thankful for the quiet at home.
I'm thankful to HP for giving me an opportunity to grow and learn.

Anyone else?

I'm thankful that I have a home of my own, a safe quiet place.
I'm thankful for my great job
I'm thankful that I have fun hobbies that make me happy
I'm thankful that my xabf isn't currently drinking and seems so much healthier

I'm thankful for this beautiful sunnysnowy winter's day, not too cold, not at all windy, just blue skies and sunshine.

I'm thankful that I can hear the birds on the branches outside my window, making their plans for spring. I'm thankful that their excited chirping is the loudest sound in this quiet, serene house.

I'm thankful that my little pug is amusing me by having a kicking-running-yapping dream next to my foot.

I'm thankful that, after much practice, I finally have a lot of tools to keep my brain from obsessing about the addicted loved ones in my life (thanks, SR)

I'm thankful that I've chosen a simple life, without much use for status or possessions, because I can enjoy small things like this perfect piece of cheese, this perfect crisp cold apple on my plate.

I'm thankful that our little town has a recreation center where I can go exercise, swim, sauna, or climb, for just a couple of dollars, and I feel like a million bucks afterwards.

I'm thankful for e.e.cummings' poem:
i thank You God for most this amazing
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
I'm thankful for nodaybuttoday and for all of you, whose slow, steady movement in the right direction never ceases to amaze and delight me.

I am thankful for:

-the home that I pay for by myself
-the income that I have so that I can be independant and not feel dependant on anyone
-my 4 children whom I adore and who keep me laughing
-this website which is full of wonderful advice and many wonderful people who are keeping me sane lately
-my Mom, who will read anything I email to her and reply to me with warm words of encouragment, advice...she's always there for me
-the car that I have to drive, to be able to get my children to school and appointments

My list could go on and on these days, but I am most thankful for each new day because no matter what I struggle with today, I get to go out there and try again tomorrow.

All blessings.

I am thankful for snow.
I am thankful for loving friends and family.
I am thankful for good job karma and the possibility that I will be back working in a National Park this summer.
