I don't know where you live, but the treating you like a queen statement was also said by the man I dated a couple months back. He too talked about wanting to be with me very quickly. I had known him for years, so I thought that it was just him being into me. Now, I see it as a technique to bait with.

I read this when you first posted, but didn't read the "treat you like a queen - take care of you" BS until tonight. This is probably knee jerk, and I don't know if it's always like this, but that was EXACTLY what my abusive, mentally something-or-other, STBXAH said time and time again. Empty lies. Quite the opposite, really. Treated me like a doormat, and took care of himself to the exclusion of all else while beating me up emotionally each and every day.
