Just found an EXCELLENT blog!
First article she talks about dealing with the holidays, which I thought was great and actually gave me a chuckle. I kept reading and the rest of the blog was great!! The second entry actually talked about how people in the helping professions look for dysfunctional partners!! I'm a nurse, and BY GOD it hits home! I will be keeping touch with this blog...

I'm going to read this now....
But I just had to say that I'm studying to be a psychologist! LOL good grief. Actually I'm making a huge career shift after I lost my job in January.
I have always found emotionally detached partners (thanks dad!)
but now that I'm becoming more aware of my patterns, I'm hoping that choosing healthier relationships is around the corner.....along with the profession of helping others!
