I have questions about dealing with a family member that is an alcoholic. I need answers to what I can do about getting him to realize that he needs treatment, what kinds of treatments are available, etc.

But I have to say that nobody could get me to realize I needed treatment, I had to find my bottom and figure it out for myself. I hope you'll give some thought to your own recovery, and taking care of yourself rather than focusing on him.
