Al-Anon vs. CODA?

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me what the differences are between these two groups? Our town has meetings for both, and I am just wondering which might benefit me more. My H is an ACOA. Thanks!

This is just my interpretation, I'm an alcoholic in recovery and I've attended Al-Anon in the past and currently attend CoDA meetings.

Al-Anon helped me to understand my part in the disease, and what I also heard were solutions to living with a spouse or family member who is active in their addiction or working a program of recovery.

CoDA has me digging deeper into my inner self and past, looking at my inner child, learning how to set boundaries and practice detachment, and most of all learning how to have healthy relationships.

The programs seem similar to me, but in CoDA I feel that the focus is more on myself rather than an alcoholic or addict in my life besides me.

Thank you for the reply Astro, I think I will try a CODA meeting.

Here's the CoDA homepage, there's a meeting locator and other info you might find helpful http://www.codependents.org/
