Meetings and Sponsor
In order to get a sponsor for Al Anon, is there a set number of meetings you are required to go to like AA?
I asked a lady about needing a sponsor. She said it is the hardest thing and told me to just keep coming and try to find someone close to my situation.
I found another lady who was a sponsor because she said she dropped her sponsee since she didn't go to meetings. I didn't ask her to be my sponsor because I can't go every day. I am up to 2x/week and that is hard enough with childcare.

I'm glad you are able to schedule a few meetings each week for yourself. I don't think there is a timeline for finding a sponsor. You can find one immediately or wait a little while.
You can also start working on your steps here at SR. Just like any topic, you can post your concerns and challenges for each step and get feedback from others. CatsPajamas has started recent threads for the first 3 steps, and she also shares some of her experience with working the steps.
