Update to my Question

So last night I told my AH that I wasn't going to the dinner Saturday. He said "fine me and the kids will just go". I told him "no the kids will stay home with me" He was so angry! I could tell he was trying to hold his tonge. He did and I went to bed. I fear Saturday it will turn into a HUGE fight!

Sounds like you & the kids should just plan a wonderful day for yourselves. What's your favorite thing to do together?

Agree 100% with GL, plan something wonderful for that day! make a point on spending a great day together.

If he is angry that day and wants to pick a fight just tell him "I notified you of this before." then off you go.

Heck, we'd all have our way about a lot of things, and we don't / we do not start fighting or abusing anyone because of it. If he gets angry its his issue

Good point eveyone!

I like the idea of the outing. This weekend the weather is going to be so awesome! I will be sure to go out and just enjoy the beautiful day.

No fighting on my end...
