I've been reading and reading posts, it is amazing how addiction is so powerful, the analogy I think of is a tornado or hurricane, it just wipes out everything in it's path.

Please keep my AS in your prayers, I think she may be dead by years end. She got out of hospital a week ago and is back to drinking, which is of no suprise. I've remained detached, I didn't visit her, haven't spoken to her, and she already to our Mom she doesn't want me in her life, so I'll stay away. My Mom is staying strong, she is pretty amazing. I think she is close to finally kicking her out, maybe this will finally make her hit rock bottom, but I don't know.

I don't know if an intervention will work at this point, any thoughts?

Just needed to vent a bit, I'm praying for her and hope she finds God's love and peace and gets the help she needs.

I hope that she finds the need inside herself to get help dreamstones, I really do.

Very profound and true. I think everyone on SR prays for help for the addicts in our life.
