Still haven't heard from my attorney that STBXAH has signed the papers, so don't know if it will be contested or not. Trying to stay calm, but I really don't want this dragged out any longer.
STBXAH came by tonight to drop off something for one of the kids and he looks horrid. He's probably lost 50-60 pounds, his eyes look hollow. He is angry and bitter.........and you know what? I can have compassion for him because his disease has cost him his marriage and family, but I still feel relief that I was able to do the things I needed to get out of the madness.
I trust there will be much brighter days ahead!

Blessed, Hi.
I am happy you mentioned feeling relieved as today for th efirst time, I cried a little however the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders for some reason. I felt lighter with L now being married. The fear, drama and cycle is behind me and I can move ahead without being concerned about being with him its kind of weird as we have been split for many months.
Miss

Sometimes it seems it will never end..
Just a gentle reminder: Be patient, try to relax , you can't change it anyway. You will only need to make it throw this storm( divorce process) a little longer. It will end. Its a process that must run it course. Sorry you are not aloud to race though it. Try to be glad you don't have the responsibility of controlling the legal system. :-)
The second half of your post was a good reminder for me.:-)
