Thanks everyone.
I just got all emotional thinking about stuff.
I mean I'm so happy it's all official, but I wish it didn't have to be this way. I miss my brother and Joe misses his Dad. I guess we have to make the best of things now, which we are, in fact we're doing more than 'making the best' of it really, we're doing great.
But, you know, a few mixed feelings about today now that it's sunk in.

It's okay to let yourself feel a tad melancholy regarding your brother, I think, but just a tad...don't rob yourself of the joy of gaining another son, Lucy! Who knew you'd someday be mother to three, right? Congratulations and bless you too.

The sad feelings have mostly passed now, I intend to enjoy every minute of Joe rediscovering childhood (which he's doing now, messily, noisily and happily) and starting to actually live his life.
