I had given my A a few papers to read the other day. We are going to go to counseling and the program emailed over some documents on marriages and alcoholism. I also printed off days and times of AA meetings for him since he keeps giving the excuse that he would like to go to them, but doesn't have the time.

I asked him yesterday if read them and he said yes. I asked him what he thought. He said "I don't know". And that was that.

Well, he came home last night with a 6-pack of Sam Adams under his arm.....

I guess I got my answer...

He drank all of it last night (in about 2 1/2 hours before going to bed), and then was trying to be all nice and sweet this morning and wondered why I wasn't jumping up and down excited that he wasn't grumpy.

I'm going to tell him this weekend that I'm going to start going to Alanon meetings on Mondays...I have to do something to keep myself sane.:tongue3:
