He called the probation office and they gave him three choices....
VIOLATION + JAIL
VIOLATION + JAIL (Program comes to GET him and he's done in 90 days)
PROGRAM for 30 Days and 11 months of an SLE!
He chose option #3
My restraining order is being picked up. I can have the program serve him in a few days once he's situated. he knows its coming.
I can say that I feel a sense of RELIEF. Relief in that he's not dead...not high...not drunk...not loaded...not driving around...not in prison.....
but moreso, because I'm standing by what I've said I was going to do. NEVER have I done this.
I'm following thru.....I'm being cordial and not nasty and if we are able to talk peacefully, then that is WONDERFUL!

congrats on getting off the rollercoaster!!
All we need to do in order to keep from going in circles with them is to stop buying tickets for the ride.... hard to do at first, but the rewards of living in peace are immeasurable!!!!!!

I must say that there was a time when I wasn't aware of myself and having that bit of self-realization really hurts at times.
When my husband says "yeah, blame me", I use to say "well who else is there to blame"....fact is, I'm to blame because I never should have tolerated it this long. I never should have gotten married. But that getting married created my son so in that aspect its been all worth it.
But then again, it hasn't been. What fun is it to raise a child when you don't have the mental capacity to get on the floor and just play with them? How unfair to my son for being the mother I am.
Boy, do I ever have a lot of time that I must make up!
