I need to stop focusing on figuring out why and set some boundaries for myself. After a particularly ridiculous display of yelling and stomping about yesterday I told him that I wasn't ok with him yelling at me and treating me that way is verbal abuse. He hasn't apologized, but I don't care. My sticking up for myself is good enough for me.
