OMG they are everywhere!
A's that is!
My 14 year old son and his 12 year old cousin were flying today to meet my brother and the rest of his family who had driven to Fla in their coach last week (my dad and grandmother also live there). I took them to the airport and got them off safely. My brother called a couple of hours later to let me know they had arrived and were with him. My son has flown on planes quite a few times but this was his first time "alone".
A few minutes later he calls back to say that the man sitting next to my niece had been drinking heavily (this was only a 2.5 hour flight mind you) and would not shut up and kept trying to get the kids to talk to him (an A who won't shut up, shocking huh?) and my son got up and went back to the stewardess and told her that the guy was drunk and asked them to move him and his cousin to other seats!
So the stewardess moved them to the seats in front of their station. I guess the crew were scared that this situation had lawsuit written all over it because the pilot himself escorted the kids off the plane to my brother!
I am so proud of my son, most kids probably would not have known what to do and would have just sat there or been scared to say anything. I always tell him that no one should put up with A behavior and that he should never be afraid to "tell" on his A dad (my ex) or call me if things get out of hand.
