Okay, it's time to take the
Magic Eight Ball out now. That thing just can't seem to call the shots though. The damn eight ball would never come out and make a solid prediction. Which meant...SIGH...that you would just have to make your future your own.
I kept hoping that when I shook up the Magic Eight Ball, I would get..."you end up living in a house on the beach and every day is as blissful as the previous one was."
I'm going back to the Karaoke machine now.
If you want it
Here it is
Come and get
Mmmmmmm, make your mind up fast
If you want it
Here it is
Come and get it
But you better hurry 'cause it's going fast

Oh, Goodie! I'm excited! Ă…ngel finally got off the computer so I could get on! (She's talking to her boyfriend).
I've got my V-Secret Plaid Flannel jammies (Plaid's my favorite color). They are soooo soft! I also brought Fried Green Tomatoes and Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Just in case we get tired of singin'. Let's see..... and chips and dip and diet coke to balance out the calories
Love those songs! How about "I'm leavin' on a Jet Plane" (Is that the title, or is it just one of the lines?)
My first love was David Peabody (yes, that was really his name). He was my next door neighbor when I was in kindergarten and 1st grade. We played house a lot, and he was my husband, so he had to kiss me goodbye when he went to work (on the cheek). Do you consider that my first kiss? I always wondered. I think I still like that boy--he was so cute! Sigh...........
Hugs,
Lyn

That music was great!!! I can't believe that I fell asleep. ME...the QUEEN of the lurkers.
I was up at 5 am again today (so it's good I got sleep). My husband's car broke down on his way to work, about an hour from here, so I had to take him my car and ride back home in the tow truck.
I love these parties. Next time give me fair warning so I can have a nap early in the day and stay awake.....I'm 105 donchaknow.
Hugs
Ann

Rats! Missed it! Oh well, maybe next time....
I will share my first love with you, though. We were both in kindergarden and he lived next door. One day I thought it would be a good idea for me to give him a haircut - needless to say he ended up looking like a plucked owl. His father (a lieutenant colonel) was NOT amused and forbade us to play together anymore (sigh). Who knows what might have been....
Glad ya'll had fun!

Oh man, I did the
"Pink" thing and "got this party started"...and then I fell asleep too. I guess Ann is right. This group needs advance notice for slumber parties, so we can properly prepare (nap).
It was fun though, and I have been singing the oldies all morning. Until next time...
"Under the boardwalk
down by the sea-eee-eee-eee
On a blanket with my baby
That's where I'll be."
Peace Party Girls,
Gabe

I missed the slumber party. I still have all my 45's. First one
Steve Miller Band
Mock (yeah)
ing (yeah)
bird (yeah)
yeah (yeah)
Mockin'bird, now
Everybody have you heard
He's gonna buy me a mockingbird
And if that mockingbird don't sing
He's gonna buy me a diamond ring
And if that diamond ring won't shine
He's gonna surely break this heart of mine
And that's why I keep on tellin' everybody
Say yeah, yeah whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, uh, oh
Hear me now and understand
He's gonna find me some piece of mind
And if that piece of mind won't stay
I'm gonna find myself a better way
And if that better way ain't so
I'll ride with the tide and go with the flow
And that's why I keep on shoutin' in your ear
Say yeah, yeah whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, uh, oh
