Thoughts of safety on Superbowl Sunday
As you probably know, Superbowl Sunday is the #1 highest day for domestic violence. I'm sending out good thoughts of safety for all of our members, lurkers, and spouses/s.o.'s. May today and tonight be free from the worry that any of us are in harms way!

Gee.........highest rate of domestic violence eh? Wouldn't have anything to do with alcohol would it? My thoughts and wishes for peace and safety mimic Blessed.

I think there is an inherent violence in the game of football that can be a spark for violent actions in those predisposed to being violent. We had a health center where I used to work, and I loved playing volleyball with colleagues during lunch. One time I tried playing flag football with them, and wow! I got slammed around and knocked to the ground several times by the same nice guys. Never tried it again....
