I told my AH it is over just yesterday. We've been separated for one month and in that time he has been trying to manipulate me into letting him come home. I set my boundaries and he wasn't too pleased with them. Oh well, I can FINALLY say the merry-go-round has stopped. I too feel so relieved, like a huge rock has been lifted off my shoulders. I didn't cry or get upset or even mean. I just stated the facts, was true to myself and was truthful to him. I'm sure he will continue to use his charm and personality to talk me out of it. That is why I have things written down by the phone so I'm not tricked into letting him back into my life. When I look at the list I've compiled, I sound like a broken record. My guard is up and he isn't going to break me down this time.
Thanks to all of you for sharing your incredible life experiences. You have given me courage to do what is right for ME.
