Call me crazy, but I like this one. I learned to dance a certian dance to this and I go crazy for the music. It's not anything I have to feel melancholy about, or sad when I hear it. I listen and want to boogie till I barf!

Thanks so much to all of you who joined in and contributed. It's a nice break from just dealing with the A's in our lives once in awhile to focus on ourselves and things we enjoy.

All I can say is, "MY-MY-MY-MY SHARONA!!!!!"

You Think You're a Man

By Divine

THAT song got me through many days with my STBXH

I tried to post a link to YouTube, but I guess I haven't posted enough.

Are you referring to the late Divine who starred in John Waters' films? Divine preferred to be called a "shim." Divine was a male transexual who weighed in at about 350 pounds. I'm from Baltimore and recall when he was shooting the film in the city and suburbs.

I've never laughed so hard in my life to see the reactions of people on the street as an obese drag queen strutted down a street in downtown Baltimore wearing a hot-pink, skin tight evening gown. Now THAT was something to see!

Now Denny, WE are showing our age. What about, 'Hotel California, by the Eagles.
Probably not rock but a great song.

Justjo - speak for yourself - "I'm" talking about the version from Wayne's World LOL!!!!!!!

Hotel California is the only Eagles song ever recorded that I don't like - I've tried figuring out why and I think it's the tempo or something; just like "Killing Me Softly" got on my last nerve LOL. But I melt for "Best of My Love." It's in my top 5.

Guess I missed this thread prodigal. Gosh there are so many. I really like Psycho by Puddle Of Mudd, and It's Not My Time by Three Doors Down. But for this thread I'll jump into the wayback machine.........

Oh and somebody mentioned AC/DC, gotta love the new one, even if all their songs are starting to sound alike!
