What a week! It all started with a fall on my frost-covered deck letting the dog out, which left me sore and bruised. Then there was the kitchen fire incident. Yesterday my tire went flat, and I came home to find 3 overdraft notices....I later discovered my check was deposited in someone elses account so it will eventually get fixed AFTER they "investigate" it and I file some E-form.
So I'm thinking positive that all of my bad luck came along in one week, and starting tonight good things are coming my way! I'm going to go home and get the kids all settled in, take a warm soak in the tub with a good book, and wake up to a beautiful tomorrow.

Thanks! I had a lovely, relaxing evening.....warm bath with a gingersnap latte, and snuggled in with the kids to watch Mulan, which I had never seen.
Today I managed to clean and get the Christmas tree up, took 3 big bags of toys and outgrown clothes to the Salvation Army. I'm trying to pace myself with Christmas this year.....I don't usually start decorating until after Thanksgiving and then it's more of a chore than a pleasure. So I figure the tree today, maybe the mantle tomorrow.
I'm working really hard to look at things with "my glass half full". With everything going on with my AH, my possible pending layoff, this Christmas is going to have to be a lot more about being together and doing simple things than about going places and buying stuff. Despite how stressful this past year has been, I'm looking forward to making some memories with my 4 fabulous kiddos!
