Having a wonderful visit with my grandchildren...

Yesterday I finally got to see the new grandbabies, technically not mine by blood, but my grandkids' stepmom has been more of a mother to them than my oldest AD. Autumn had twins last month, Jayden and Hayden! They were both down for a nap, so I stood and admired them, and kissed each one gently on those precious fuzzy little heads!

She also has a 4 year old son (grandkids' half brother) whom I adore, and he adores me! He came running up and I grabbed him up and held him. He had to tell me all about his cool new Halloween costume (a ninja) and how much candy he was going to get!

We went to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua last night, just delightful and we all enjoyed it!

Today I will have to drive them down to my oldest AD's, and that will be a quick drop-off and limited conversation with AD. I just can't take the lies that spew out of her mouth constantly.

I'm so glad I got to see them as it's been a couple of months.

Hopefully I can get back over to their house next time when Jayden and Hayden are awake!

I am SOOOOO glad you got to spend some time with the kids. I know, for me, being around kids who adore me is just awesome.

Hugs and prayers!

What a great weekend! I miss that new baby scent (the lavender baby bath scent....not the surprise-in-the-diaper one).

My 4 year old is going to be spider man, much to my protest. I thought him and his 5 year old sis would have been adorable Pebbles and Bam-Bam, but it's not about what mom wants, you know!
