Potty talk

Don't read while eating... I'll try to be as bland as possible.

AH was telling me about his morning after binge BM (at least he's relating the drinking to his problems, hasn't done that before). I remember reading something somewhere on here about the effects of long time alcohol use on the digestive system. Can someone point me to some info please?

I was a goof - was told it was my cooking and I believed it. Didn't matter everyone else who ate my cooking loved it LOL!

I'm so out of here before he gets to the blow out stage. I'm NOT doing THAT kind of laundry.

Okay, I should NOT be laughing about this because it's a serious symptom of the effects alcohol has on the body. My AH must have the stomach of a goat because he rarely has the problem. At least as far as I know. His bathroom is on the other side of the house. And I RARELY go into that area. Dirty. Smelly. Ugh.

I do know he drinks Pepto Bismol by the bottle. He seems to be the barfing variety of A. Guess it all comes up before it sinks into the lower GI tract.

Once upon a time, I attempted to drink with him. Apparently, alcohol sunk into my GI tract big-time. I learned quickly that I could not tolerate alcohol. And I also found it disconcerting to be in need of find a toilet at inconvenient times. Double-ugh.

Ugh - that is one way I knew he had been an alcolohic for MUCH longer than I suspected. Don't know how to put this delicately -- but the "splatter" zone in the toilet was disgusting. Couldn't clean it up, so would regularly have to buy new toilet seats. Of course it was always because he ate onions or cabbage or something (everyday??). And didn't realize until I read those articles that tooth loss is also an effect of alcohol. Wow!
