Anyone read Eat, Pray, Love?

The auther of Eat,Pray,Love was on Oprah today, and I just wondered if anyone here has an opinion? I got/am getting so much from Codependent No More and would love to have input on other books that might help me on my journey.

Do not listen to anything on Oprah. I feel you can work your own way thru things without the help of celebrity shills

Hiya blessed4x--
No I haven't read it but it is on a short list in my book club. I've heard really good things about it. My "book club" is just 4 moms with kids around the same age. We read a book, and once a month we get together, and eat and chat while the kids do homework-- it's been fun, very easy-going. I read a lot, and I have to say, Oprah's recommended books are usually really, really good.
Peace,
B.

I have not read it, although it's on my short list too. I have a few friends who have read it and really thought it was great.

I have read it and enjoyed it. Well, I should say I especially enjoyed the "Eat" and "Pray" parts, and was okay with the "Love" part. I won't say any more, but I guess I'm more interested in focusing on me than on looking for some perfect "other". Still, it's a lovely book. I got mine out of the library and it was worth the wait.
