When I leave AH, I don't expect him to be violent, but I do expect some harassment. I know the laws vary from state to state, but is there anything the police can do about that?

Any restraining order contains wording that prevents any and all contact. The important thing is to get the order. Once gotten, you'll have all the leverage! If you're concerned about harassment, that's enough of a reason to get one. Best of luck. Prayers

Talk to the family court in your area and find out what your options are. They will help you file a restraining order or protective order if you meet the requirements.

Ha! Right after I posted this, a cop walked in my door. Apparently all he has to do is stalking behavior after I ask him not to and I can have him arrested. If he threatens me with physical harm and it's physically possible for him to do it, I can have him arrested. Thanks!
