well now, doesn't this just take the cake
 

As I was leaving work today, my boss asks what I have planned for the weekend. I say "I'm tiling the bathroom and finishing up this remodel." and he says to me "Don't you ever do anything fun on the weekends?"

My AH is out right now, partying it up with his buddies while I'm home measuring out the wall to make sure the tile fits. WTF?

Somedays, I'm pretty sure I need a big ole kick in the butt....

The only saving grace is that I actually enjoy putting work in on the house and doing these things.

Well, as long as you are enjoying what you are doing, it counts as doing something fun, doesn't it?

As long as you don't resent others for having fun, if that is their thing. That is your option too.

What does fun look like?

Ah - I can releate!!! Sometimes it takes all I have to Let it Go - and I'm not great at it. Unfortunately, I am not good at doing those types of things like you.

It's hard to say not to build a resentment - I am still working on that little item too.

But - if you like to do this, do it - and do it well. Do it anyway that you want to walls to look, etc. I think submersing yourself in something you enjoy is healthy - plus, it helps to work out anger (at least for me it does).
