My children were outside playing and I told my oldest daughter to make sure that the younger ones stayed in the yard. She came running in the house and screamed "MOM, you need to get them they are going down the street!" So out the door I ran and my son had been "gardening" and left the hoe out in the yard and guess what? BAM! I landed right on it and it stabbed me between my piggy toe and the next in line. All the way to the bone and about 3/4 inch wide! Had to go get stitches at the hospital and let me tell ya! I AM IN PAIN! Dr. prescribed painkillers but I'm trying not to use them. If my pain gets any worse I might have to. I also had to get a tetnis shot and my arm feels like its just gonna fall off! The Dr. made me laugh so hard despite the intense pain when he exclaimed " That dirty old Hoe!" I thought I would simply lose it! It help me get through those gross shots between the toes! So now my kids are trying to make up to me by offering to do things and my husband too. Guess what? I'm eating it up. I am being waited on hand and foot! Its about time, huh?

That shot hurts so bad that I think sometimes it would be better to get the stiches without it. I bet you are in pain.

Smoke~ I must admit when I was laying there getting stitches I thought about Blue toenails!!!

I am in so much pain this morning! I was laying in bed doing just fine until I had to get up! I took one step and decided I'd crawl to the bathroom. OUCH! I hope this stops hurting so much SOON! I hate laying around the house . My husband will sure be busy today!! He'll find out how "easy" it is to manage a household!

The Dr. prescribed Vicodin but I sleep all of the time. So, I'm not taking anything now except for the antibiotics. I've tried Tylenol and Advil but it doesn't phase it. You guys should've seen me trying to take a bath this morning.That was a H T!

Can't get my foot wet. My husband giggled at me long enough for me to slap him! You don't realize how important your feet are until you can't use one of them!

I'm so sorry you're in pain. I've had that tetanus shot, and let me tell you--It can be as bad as the injury!

One of my daughters has TMJ, and she was taking my arthritis pain relief (over the counter), and when she went to the orthodontist, she told her that arthritis pain relief is the strongest over-the-counter pain medicine there is. I didn't know that until then. Might help.
