I had a really hard weekend this past weekend (stomach virus) and so I took a stomach pill before going to bed and went to sleep at 8:00 last night. I would assume that it was a "medication" induced dream, but I had a nightmare about a certain thing that had taken place some 4 years ago when my RAH was active. I could see it plain as day, heard him tell me the words and woke up a little on the ticked side.

I told him exactly what the dream was about and what was said and of couse he dismissed it (he's not completed his 4th step) with a look of get over it.

It truthfully didn't bother me after I told him, but was wondering what makes those crazy things reappear at the wrong times?

I see my daily herdles being jumped, but this one made me stop a minute.

Anyone with dream experience can tell me what was going on?

If it becomes continous, it is probably a sign of PTSD, which is very common among people that live or have lived with alcoholics

No, really not dwelling on it. This wasn't the first time so I knew my sick brain likes to get me all stirred up now and again.

I just wondered if it was something that I was going to deal with the rest of my life.
