Pre-incident Indicators Associated with Spousal Abuse
Strength, faith, hope, and love to everyone on this thread!
And prayers for safety and protection for all of us for the future, and guidance for
our path. :ghug2:
It does help to talk about it.. but, I remember being so "pent up"...during the legal process,
I couldn't say much here. This is something to take into consideration.
Anyone can read..without logging in..
Always be safe! No matter what.
Now...I can say what I need to...whooooosh.

Wow, XABF did all the ones under Emotional abuse.
Thank you for bumping it. Eye opening.
I am astonished about the amount of direct and indirect violence against women in my country in all ways and levels possible.

17 for sure. I wonder how many my girlfriend that I live with would add if I had her read this. She has a much clearer understanding of him than I do. He has really done a number on me. She say's he lives in the world according to (insert his name). Since I lived in that world too for 11 years I still tend to take what he says at face value. Luckily she can see straight through his BS. And I found out today I can get all the therapy I want for me & the kids with my insurance, yay! That will start soon.
Like several people have posted I kept "needing" it to get physical (not wanting but needing) to justify leaving. Leaving is hard, it's scary. Especially when you have no where to go. But not matter how hard it was (and is) I am out. For good and I am safe.
I will have to get the book The Gift of Fear. I have not heard of it before. Thank you for posting.
