Prayers needed
My family has just been told by the hospital that my nana, who has been suffering from a weakness in her blood vessels leading to mini strokes (variation of dementia) has had a bleed within her brain.
She is extremely confused and has lost the ability to care for her self in every way and no longer recognises us 100% of the time. She drifts in and out.
The hospital are moving her to a special neurological unit in another hospital, but there may not be anything they can do. We are all completely unsure right now if this means she will pass away soon or if she will linger like this needing full time care.
My nana has gone, she is not there any more. I know now that she is very likely never to come back, all signs indicate that a large amount of brain tissue has been killed by this bleed.
Please pray for her and my family. We are all devestated.

You have my prayers. I know how hard it is to watch a loved one suffer from dementia. My mother forgot who I am a couple of years ago. I know its hard to believe but you will adjust to that aspect.

Thanks everyone, I will update when I know what is happening. We had to really push for the CT scan yesterday as the doctors put it off for over a week.
She should have been moved today to the neurological unit and so hopefully we will get feed back from the doctors there soon (fingers crossed).
My sister and I are leaving work together in a few minutes to go to my parents.
I appreciate all the warm wishes and prayers, the power of prayer/healing from everyone will benefit us, I am sure.
