Who is up for a 10 Day Challenge?

Here's what I'm thinkin':

Starting JUNE 1st: Anyone who is able, we make a pledge to walk 10 miles in 10 days while contemplating 10 different meditations or "thoughts for the day" re: recovery. If you are unable to physically walk you could commit to 10 meditations in 10 days....

Visit this website
Running, Walking, Cycling Distance: How far is it? Find out...
Plug in your address and find some nice 1 mile courses near you. You can either walk a route and then plug it in and see how far you've gone - or plug in your address and create a route that adds up to one mile. It's actually a very cool and fun website!

I'll post a meditation the night before, starting May 31st, and then at your convenience the next day take a mile walk and see what thoughts or insights pop into your head while ruminating on the message of the day! Then we can share our thoughts as the days go along.

What y'all think?

A mile at a leisurely pace takes about 20 minutes...naturally we can individually choose to walk farther or faster. The challenge is both physical and mental! And hey if we all lose a pound heading into summer - that's a bonus!

After all, the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step!

Peace,
B.

I'm in as far as I can - if I can! :P

That site is cool - I could actually scroll in nicely to see where I live....interesting!

Now I can actually have a better idea of where my buddies here live and the time zones.

Thanks for that Bernadette!

I'm in (I may have an advantage though, I do at least a mile most days behind a wheelchair) I guess I can change my daydreaming to meditation easy enough.
