Good news
AH has finally agreed to the settlement agreement and I can file for divorce! I had to give over my car to get his agreement but since his car is a piece of garbage on its last legs and I was gonna trade in my car anyway, I decided to be nice and give it to him. It was worth it to get this finalized. I bought myself a 2005 Sonata that only has 11000 miles on it for a great price. I like my "new" car.
And AH is filing for bankruptcy which stops the forecloure action on the house for a while at any rate. With any luck, the house will sell before they proceed with the foreclosure.

It beginning to feel like the end is in sight. I figure I should be divorced by the end of May at the latest. The only tie will be the house while its up for sale and I don't have to communicate with him on that since all real info comes from the realtor. Its gonna be a wonderful feeling to have all those ties severed. Emotionally it was done long ago but now the legal entanglements will also be gone. Life is good!
Hooray for you B-52!
It really made me smile to read your news. Onward and upward!!

It is indeed exciting in oh so many ways. I'm so lucky to have this opportunity to redefine myself and figure out what I'm gonna be when I grow up.
