Thought I lost you guys
I thought I might never be able to visit here again!THANK GOD I WAS ABLE TO GET BACK. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't come here and read these posts.There's always something wise or heartwarming to take away from here.
My situation hasn't changed much.Still have the same drunken ramblings going on,especially on the weekends!Now that its nice outside I not only leave the room when he starts,I leave the house.He knows how I feel,I've told him when he gets drunk nothing he says makes much sense,AND THE REPETITION DRIVES ME NUTS!So now I go out and work on the garden or go for a walk.
Well,mainly I just wanted to say how much I missed this place!! Its great to be back!Now I'm going to stop writing so I can read the posts

Welcome back Karen !
You are taking care of yourself , no reason to listen to
the ramblings of repeat repeat repeat.
My sister is an evening drinker and we used to talk on
the phone at night, it was so annoying and sad to hear
her repeat what she just said. now, we only talk on sat
mornings but its good, the conversations are much more
stimulating !
