Earth day
Earth day
It is EARTH DAY today
I thought to start a "suggestion list" of easy to follow steps for all to DO actually something little or big. People always think that small efforts don't make a difference. I think they do.
You can go to GOOGLE today and click on their Earth-day logo or just search "Earth day" and find plenty of links allowing you to learn or participate in a way or another.
I like this quiz...

And a lot of easy to follow suggestions....
At Home | Earth Day | US EPA
My suggestions (and what we do to make a difference):
Eat only sustainable seafood
Plant 3 trees per family member
Watch electricity consumption
In South Africa we have to watch our electricity consumption, we are having 2 times a week “load shedding” or black-outs of 4 hours to save electricity - that is somehow a forced action as government “forgot” to put budgets and actions in place to meet increasing power demand, but at least it helps saving electricity. So we put geyser blankets, timeswitches on our geysers and use energybulbs or candles for a romantic evening….
What are you doing to contribute positively to our environment?
