A little venting - frustrated

OK, so I am making great progress - well on my way to relocating, have a job, set up the movers, getting everything taken care of, quit my old job, all the stuff I need to do - so I am buying a house and I have to get some paperwork taken care of and I need a copy of my husband's picture ID for the lender. But his license is suspended! And his passport is expired! So I have to drive him to the BMV to get a "state ID" - and he needs all this supporting documentation, birth cert, etc.

I guess I'm just frustrated that it comes down to still needing him to do something and take some action before I can move forward with my plans. It ticks me off that my future depends on him doing this - and that I have to drive him to the BMV! I feel like I'm still tangled up in the insanity!!

Deep breath, I will get through this, almost to the finish line. Thanks for indulging me for a moment!

If you're purchasing the house alone, why do you need your husband's picture ID? He'll be out of your hair soon. Don't let him take up any more space in your head or rob you of your sanity.

Just a few more steps and you'll be a free woman....

I need his ID as part of the process/paperwork for the lender so I can purchase the property in my own name - not as part of the "community" since the divorce isn't final yet. It's like this giant complicated Monopoly game where the rules keep getting more frustrating as the game goes on!
