Well....

I guess I wasn't ment to write the note I just wrote because I was signed in and then when I hit send.... I wasn't.

I am doing good. Still seeing the counceler and still with the hubby. We took a week off and did a lot of stuff together. We didn't fight (put that on the calinder) and we did talk about his addictions. He has been fairly good up entell yesterday. Spent the entire day drinking and stayed out tell 8:30. Drinking and I am sure gambling. (nothing new)

When he came home I told him I had fallen asleep (I slep for 3 hours) and so I did not make the roast for dinner. He said he wondered why I had not called earlier. See he was only going to be gone an hour but it ended up being about 4 or 5. When he said that I was thinking that he might be trying ot put the blame on me because I didn't call him on the hour thing. Hmmmmm So I just calmly told him he was a grown man and makes his own choices as to weather he will be gone for an hour or longer. That defused it and was the end of the conversation.

Today he has the morning after flue. Been there, done that.
Well I just wanted to say I think I handled last night well. I gave back to him what was his and felt good about what I did for the day. I think I may have taken a real step in my recovory. It feels good.
D

Owning our own stuff and giving back to others what is theirs -IMHO is a grand feeling! I never knew what it was like-because I owned a lot of junk in the past! Glad I got rid of most of it work in progress!

Great job Lost

Aaahhhh.....I know that feeling! He wanted to start a game with you, that "back and forth", blah, blah, blah, go nowhere game!

Hah!!!! And you're not into that game anymore. Good for you! And you spoke calmly....great!

They just don't know what to say when we stop playing their games....

Very inspiring!

Thanks,

Shivaya
