Thank you.

Thanks to all of you who have posted on the various threads. I was finally able to speak (well sort of, between the tears) at my alanon meeting today. I haven't really been able to talk about what's going on. Finding SR has been a God-send and reading all the posts has really helped me begin to accept what has been brought into my life and the ways I have available to help me learn from this.

I'm very early in my recovery stage and am only beginning to admit the effect alcohol has had on my life. Thank you all so much.

Mary Anne

For a long time, I was not able to get through an Alanon meeting without crying. The pain was just too near the surface and raw. It does get better. Healing happens in its own time and at each individual's pace.

gentle hugs
