Halfway houses in Chicagoland area

We are trying to find a halfway house in the Chicagoland area for our son (21). I understand there are many different houses with different services. Does anyone have information(or names of houses) that would help us narrow our search? Thanks!

The Salvation Army may be a good resource. They may have a full listing of all the 1/2way houses in the area.

Are you lookign for a half way house strictly for alcoholism?

Are there any other factors ....ie. geting out of jail etc..??

In addition to the Salvation Army there are also service provided by the Catholic Charities. Both these groups have great reputations. If you live near that area you can also look up a few al-anon meetings. The people who attend those meetings will have first-hand experience with the resources in your area and will be able to give you direct information.
