I can see how you find the easy steps funny, I guess I can too, but my mother is working them .

Aw what the hell, they made me laugh but I didnt want to offend anyone (I guess I have a bit of work to do on myself)

Yes...the alanon steps are serious...but the easy steps were hilarious...(if uncomfortably too true at times..)

My mother and I are working the "real" 12 steps too.

I think the easy steps are to make fun and laugh at ourselves.

I particularly like easy #11. I often try to convince my HP to see it my way. Just trying to help.

3. Made a decision to turn the wills and lives of our friends and relatives over to the care of the God of our choice, since we understood Him better than they possibly could.

Let me share with you my 'old' version of this...

3. Made a decision to manipulate the will and lives of friends and relatives over to 'MY' care, since 'I' understand them better than anyone.

How do you spell Arrogant???

That was actually quite helpful....

A little eye opener for me. I think I saw a few of my bad (nah, not me!) habits listed there.

Thanks for the laugh.

I too found it very enlightening...its like...the ridiculous nature of being codie...and just how ridiculous it is from an outside perspective.
