There are many ways to disable an alcoholic

I prefer to hire a shady friend to use a blunt object on the kneecap.

It's a parody of another thread, not a personal comment.

No it's not funny, but many years ago I used a sawed off shot gun on a drunken trucker, and yes blew his kneecaps away.

Took me many years into sobriety to find him, and turns out he was sober also and looking for me to apologize for being such an octopus and an azz that he felt I was forced to do what I did, so who knows, we both ended up sober, and for about the same length of time, he a few months more than me.

Go figure

Very strange and very dangerous things can happen to one who is out there practicing their affliction. Sure did to me!!!!!!!

Love and hugs,

Perhaps so but in very poor taste.

I amuse only myself with this one. I can live with that.

I was assuming you meant it as a joke and so I thought it was funny. I know I take myself way too seriously some days. Thanks for reminding me to:

I knew it was a joke too. Sometimes we all have to lighten up a bit.

I knew it was a joke too. SOme jokes are in poor taste. Would those of you who were physically abused find a joke about beating women to be in good taste? Some jokes are fine among friends but not appropriate for a support group forum. Its not a matter of lightening up IMO.

I would rather laugh at myself, before anyone else gets the joke.
