How to Stop Drinking and Driving Video

2nd row, 1st video.

If you want someone to stop drinking and driving show them this video. Sometimes it takes a shocking experience to teach someone a lesson. Lets hope this can be the experience of watching the video instead of it happening for real. Do you guys think this video is good enough to stop drinking and driving?

It's certainly a powerful video, but, if they're going to drink and drive they will. It wont happen to them will it?

Everyone, logically, knows the possible outcomes of driving drunk. THe problem is that those who are drunk do not think logically. Seeing a video might have an effect on some but not most. THe ability to deny reality is too strong in an alcoholic or a casual drunk even. I don't know how many times I have heard an obviously impaired person say something along the lines of I can drive, I'm not that drunk, and so on.

Yikes! Effective or not, I am going to send this to a few people who I know drink and drive on occasion... Might as well try! Thanks for the post!

Unfortunately, no. For the alcoholic, it's more about the drinking than it is about the driving. I don't believe they even remotely connect the two. This is why I also believe that our current drinking and driving laws are completely useless. These things would scare us sober, but not them.
