He went away for weekend - hasn't hardly drank
 

Hi All, Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. My AH left for our upstate place Thanksgiving afternoon. The kids and I had such a nice Thanksgiving, we all ate, watched I Love Lucy, the grandkids played, it was sooo nice and calm. Friday afternoon/night the kids and grands and me all decorated the house for Xmas, played Christmas music till after midnight, was alot of fun! Everyone so relaxed and happy. AH has been upstate since, calls me every morning to say good morning and every night to say goodnight. Being real sweet and all. And you know what - he doesn't sound drunk or buzzed or anything (I can usually always tell). The real kicker is, when he comes home later on tonight and is now going to be home, he will be drinking. Why???? He had an entire 4 whole days to be away from all of us, to drink to heart's content, all day and all night if he wanted, but does he??? No. Just don't get it. In any event, we all had a great time this weekend. More peace than in a long time. I took it as a test run of what it's going to be like when I leave. I think I'm going to like it. Trying to figure out an A's thinking is like going to the hardware store for cake mix, it's bound to leave you frustrated.
