Just for fun-your user name!

1963 comet actually posted this in the A forum and I thought this was a good idea for us to do over here! Kind of FUN! And I think we need that over here for a change of pace!

This is just for fun.

Been reading here for a while now. Was wondering how everyone come up with their user name. Or, if there if there is a story behind it.
I will start.....

When I first came to SR I really did not honestly think about doing a name to fit with my recovery-but rather used my name "Rella" as it has been a nick name for me for years! Cinderella- so it just fit when I logged on to SR! I can always change it but I actually like it fits ME!

Ok next................:morning

hmbld came from feeling very humbled due to hitting my rock bottom as a codie. I finally stopped being a know it all, can fix everything, and forcing my fix it all, I know better, attitude on everyone around me.

Mine came from AH always saying "the Queen has spoken" or "the Queen is dead, the king lives and is going to do what he wants to do" always being referred to as the "Queen" (even by my kids jokingly at times) and Teree is what my mom called me.

Astro is the name I use when I play paintball and chat on a paintball forum, it comes from my love of amateur astronomy, I'm an alcoholic geek with a telescope collection.

On my astronomy forum I go by ArizonaScott. I was still drinking when I came up with that original name

Hehehe! Love the Jetsons!

I wanted to be anominous because I felt ashamed. However now I am not so worried about it, my real name is Julie.
I have always loved lillies so hence flower, but Lily is the name of my niece who is just 1yr, who I love to pieces! Just kind of combined my two favourite things. I wanted my name to be happy, and to remind me of good feelings and sunshiny days.

Lily xxxx

Mine is a tribute to Denny Smith, the wife and partner of L.A. columnist and author Jack Smith. They are both now deceased, but their legacy lives on in a memorial fund that is devoted to bringing literacy to all.

Mine was a goal that I set for myself. I wanted to learn how to stop being a doormat. I'm happy to report that I think I've accomplished that goal.
