21 things to look for in a good man or woman

this is a Christian/religious link if you are interested in listening. click listen.

http://realrelationshipsradio.com/?cat=4

here is a link to some good basic principles to look for in a partner. i have my own religious beliefs, as i know everyone else does, but i think a lot of the basic principles are really good. take what you like and leave the rest. i found it insightful.

so what do you look for in a good man or woman/ partner?

here's a start of a list from the audio for those that might not want to listen.

is he/she interested in what makes you smile?
does he/she have your best interest in mind?
does he/she have a HP that comes first in their life?
is he/she truthful in love even when the truth might hurt?
does he/she know when something is not sitting right with you?
does he/she know you well enough to know when something is not right with you?
does he/she know when to back off/or press inward?
can he say he loves you no matter what happened in your past?
can they forgive?
can he/she encourage you in a time of crisis?
is he/she not afraid to show weakness?

does he/she do the little things without you asking?
does his/her actions say i respect you?
is he/she honest about their mistakes and not shift blame somewhere else?
does he/she like to do things with you? is he/she interested in having fellowship/friendship with others?
does he/she love kids that are not his own flesh and blood as his own (for me this includes animals also!)
does he/she have a HP that he loves more than you? -this goes to codies because it talks about everything being for your partner instead of for hp and idolizing your partner.
does he/she listen first and then actively engage in conversation?
