I believe life is very fair. In Gods time,not ours, in ways beyond our understanding. If you choose to stay in the ditch, your life will be lived out of the ditch.
If I were you, and I have been, I'd make a list and a mission statement about who you want to be and start to work on it. Other women seem so dumb, so desperate, women who are just like you and just like me. We all go into it thinking we are special. We go into it pretty ignorant to the truth about alcoholism.
This other woman is you, she is me, way back at the start when we believed the best about them and ourselves. Are you going forward, backward or spinning in neutral? He was yesterday, pretend you are looking in a rear view mirror. Each day he should be farther away. That depends on your speed in moving forward. If you keep going slow, not only will he catch you, he'll run you over. Eyes forward! and step on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
