We got notice today that my AH is to start intensive therapy starting Monday. I am relieved that he will at least have the opportunity to get started on his recovery. He knows he has a problem and under certain circumstances will reveal that, but then when he wants his drink he gets angry. So wish our family luck.

Good luck......part of his recovery is family recovery. Does his program have a family therapy or educational component? If it does, take full advantage of the education and help. It is just as important for the family to be working on their issues.
