Makes me laugh

OK so after last week I told the ex-abf that I didn't want further contact and that we both should go on with living our own lives and if our paths were to cross ever again it would be GOD's doing. Well, tonight I was on mtbr fourms (mountain bike review fourms) trying to find solutions as to why I can't get my crank arms off of my bike (I'm trying to take the current set off and put a new set on). So, I did a search to see if anyone else had ever had this problem. To my luck a guy had posted earlier this evening asking for advice on how to get his crank arms off (he was having the same problem as me). I replied to the post indicating that I was having the same problem (named the type of crank's I have) and am too interested in hearing other solutions. Lo and behold who comes along and replies to me and the guy....Yep you got it my ex-abf. I realize that he had valuable insight for the other guy b/c he has the same crank set as him....but he also offered insight to me on how to get my cranks off. Thats just what made me laugh...he initiated the contact granted it was through a forum. Still though him trying to be helpful in how to get my crank's off in no way shape or form makes up for how he treated me as a person over the last 5 years. Damn him and him being nice.

He is an arms length away when he is in a forum enviorment, and so are you.

Take it as it was mean't to be, how to take your crank arms off...period.

It still makes me laugh.... and NO contact is NO contact that includes a forum. Sorry if you disagree.

Did he know it was you?

Is that the only forum available to you, MTB? Many times ex's don't "play by the rules" so we have to remove ourselves, rather than expecting them to do so.

Nice? Or looking for validation of his "expertise"? It's not unknown on forums in sicker moments......*whistles nonchalantly*

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....go figure.

MTBChick 07-03-2007 09:37 AM

Taz, yes he knew it was me. Minnie I'm not sure if there are other sites I'll have to look into that.

My ex stalked me on forums after we were supposed to be having no contact.

I had to remove myself as he obviously wasn't going to. Watch yourself.

I've got a Park crank puller if you need it ;)

MTBChick 07-03-2007 02:48 PM

GP, I've got the crank puller. I was able to finally get the bolt loose and off but now its stuck to the 8mm hex and I can't get it off.

Earthworm, I don't think he's stalking. But if he does it again I'll just make up a new account where he won't be able to know its me.

Motor on.........He's not the only source for pulling a crank!!!!!!
