Knock on wood!
 

I am just posting to celebrate my AH now has 7 almost 8 (on the 11th) weeks sober! Hopefully I am not jinxing his recovery by posting this (out loud). He is doing really well, gets a little moody now and then but otherwise great. He is not going to AA, as they are not very productive in our area. But he is talking. Says he has cravings once in a while still, but he has smartened up. I believe the dr did a great job of scaring the crap out of him in detox. Told him, yes he could drink again, however he would not survive another detox. Thanks so much to everyone here for all your ongoing support and prayers. You are all the best! Thank you!

Great to hear happy storys ! Its a great beginning for you both . Keep him talking and if hes not doing AA , maybe he can do some individual counseling with an alcoholic counselor . That should help keep him on the right road .
