Arrow Appreciation

Hi all. I wonder if you all know how much you are appreciated. Sometimes, and I'll bet I'm not the only one, this board is like a lifeline. I have learned over the years not to involve other people in the cycle of high drama in my current state of existence. So to be able to come here, and communicate with people that actually understand, is pretty wonderful. Life with an A can be pretty lonely. We slap on a happy face for friends and family, and go around pretending everything is fine, and normal, and inside it is a constant struggle not to give in to the despair of it all.

So, thank you to all the wise and wonderful and funny and deserving of more than we are getting people!

It's really cool for this alcoholic to spend time in the F&F forum. Many thanks to all of you for making me feel welcome.

Yup, that's cuz normies don't get it.

I've learned a lot about myself by visiting here.

Thank you for expressing the appreciation that most of us have for the community here. I try to keep my sorrow, loss + pain tucked away behind my smile for my own benefit. But it does help to express it and release it here and then my smile can return. I have learned detachment but I also have to be real with what I am feeling at any given time.

I love this place!! It's been a life-saver many times! There is just nothing better than talking with people who have been where you are and can help you understand when no one else can!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I need a t-shirt that says I heart SR!
